1. What this site is

findmyFA.app is an independent directory that reproduces public registration records about US financial advisors. We are a publisher of public-record information. We are not an investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a bank, an insurance producer, a financial planner, or a solicitor or promoter for any advisor.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on this site is investment advice, financial planning advice, legal advice, or tax advice. Nothing here is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. We do not evaluate whether any advisor, strategy, product, or security is suitable for you. Choosing a financial advisor is a personal decision with financial consequences; consult a qualified professional and do your own diligence.

3. Not a recommendation or endorsement

Listing an advisor on this site is not a recommendation, referral, endorsement, approval, certification, or vetting of that advisor. We do not rank advisors by quality. Inclusion is not a credential, and omission is not a criticism — many qualified advisors are simply not yet in our index. We have no ability to assess an advisor's competence, ethics, or fit for you, and we do not try to.

4. No adviser-client, fiduciary, or professional relationship

Using this site does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship between you and findmyFA.app. We owe you no fiduciary duty. We are not acting in your best interest in a legal sense, because we are not acting for you at all.

5. Source of the data, and its limits

Registration data is reproduced from the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure system (IAPD) at adviserinfo.sec.gov and FINRA's BrokerCheck at brokercheck.finra.org. Those systems are the official records of record. This site is a secondary copy and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong.

We do not alter the factual content of the records we reproduce. We do normalize formatting (for example, name capitalization) for display.

Specifically, you should assume:

• Coverage is partial. We have indexed a fraction of the estimated ~734,000 registered individuals in the United States. An advisor's absence proves nothing.
• Data is a snapshot. Registration status, firm affiliation, licensing, and disciplinary history change continuously. Our copy is as of the compile date shown on each page.
• Disciplinary and disclosure history may be missing or incomplete here even where it exists in the official record.
• Names are not unique. Multiple registered individuals share names. The CRD number is the only reliable identifier. Confirm you have the right person before acting.

Always verify against the primary source at adviserinfo.sec.gov and brokercheck.finra.org before making any decision about an advisor.

6. FINRA BrokerCheck data

Data reproduced from FINRA BrokerCheck is used for investor-protection purposes and is subject to FINRA's BrokerCheck Terms of Use. We identify BrokerCheck as the source, link to BrokerCheck and its Terms of Use, disclose the date the data was compiled, maintain a process for reporting and correcting errors, and do not alter or modify the factual content of the records. Your use of that data is subject to those Terms of Use.

7. No affiliation with regulators

findmyFA.app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the North American Securities Administrators Association, any state securities regulator, or the CFP Board. References to those bodies and their public records are nominative and descriptive only.

8. Third-party links

We link to regulator sites, advisor and firm websites, and other third-party resources. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for their content.

9. Accuracy, errors, and corrections

We work to reproduce public records accurately, but we make no representation or warranty that any information on this site is accurate, current, or complete. If you believe a record about you or anyone else is wrong, use our Data Corrections process. Note that we cannot change the official record — corrections to the underlying SEC or FINRA record must be made through the SEC, FINRA, or the registered firm.

10. Advisors: your rights

If you are a listed advisor, you may (a) report a factual error, (b) request that we re-pull your record from the primary source, and (c) submit a request under applicable privacy law. Because our registration data comes from government records that are lawfully made available to the public, we may decline to delete those specific fields, but we will respond to every request and will delete information we hold about you that is not drawn from public records. 11. No warranty

THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, findmyFA.app AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

13. Compensation

findmyFA.app does not currently accept payment from advisors or firms for listing, placement, ranking, or removal. If that ever changes, we will disclose it clearly and prominently on every page where it is relevant, and we will state exactly what payment does and does not buy. We will never allow payment to affect an advisor's ranking, the visibility of reviews about them, or their eligibility for any rating.

14. Changes

We may update these disclosures. The version and effective date at the top will change when we do, and prior versions will remain available.
